Hi, there any direct method (in PowerCivil) that serves to obtain a report of elevations (design surface and original ground surface) at a specific point in a template, for example the edge of roadway or shoulder edge? Thanks.
Hi,
which PowerCivil do you have?
GEOPAK based POwerCivil or the InRoads based "Power Civil for <country>" version?
I use PowerCivil for Latin America...
Thanks
You can add crossing features to the surface which will require that the roadway breaklines are assigned a style that is fully defined for Default Points or Cross Section Points with a surface style set to display and annotate the crossing points.
Once they are added to the sections you can use the annotate features in cross section tool.
VOAT (Vermont Agency of Transportation) has an InRoads Guide that while a few years old, explains the workflow very well. A Google search should be able to locate it.

Hi caddcop, I need a report file (txt, html, etc) with design elevation and original ground elevation of a point in template; someting like that:
Design Elevation of a point in template (A) is easy to obtain in report, but my problem is with the projection to original ground (elevation of point A'). I need booth elevations.
Hello Omedina,
The only way I have found to do such, is to drape the template "point" (features of the surface) onto the existing ground surface. This will create additional triangles in your surface but then you will be able to obtain the information in the "CrossSectionPointsList.xsl" style sheet.
