I'm using v#08.11.07.494 on Windows Vista.
I have created a design surface which includes stripping. Since the stripping is considered unsuitable to be used as fill, I wish to calculate fill based on normal fill and the additional fill to replace stripping. I thought I would be able to do so by changing the classification of the material from "design" to "unsuitable" but doing so does not alter the volumes generated by the report.
Am I missing a setting?
is this on InRoads or Geopak

Hi,
Similar question or software problem. I have overlay component to remove bituminous layers of existing pavement. now I am calculating end area volumes of earthworks. I set classification for this component to Unsuitable but when perform calculations its area is hatched with cut shape and cut area is not reduced by overlay component area.
Thanks for any input that will help to sort that out.
