LandXML Translator Export Default Linear Units

The command is supposed to read the active Master Units in the Design File and populate the units based on this setting. When stepping through the command I was able to have it change the units between Metric and Imperial but it would not distinguish between International and US Survey Foot.  So I have file a change request to have this option looked at.

I've been burned by this by not checking the units before exporting a LandXML file. Why should I? I set them in mstn! The shift here in Dane County Coordinates resulting from Trimble converting International feet to US Survey Feet is about 2 - 3 feet. So you are not likely to notice the error when you stake it for construction. Like I did. And didn't (notice). Ouch.

Counting Microstation, there are three places to set units: mstn, LandXML export, and Tools>Survey Options, Units. And there's probably more places that I haven't yet stumbled across. This is inherently dangerous if one assumes that if you set the units in ONE place then you're done.

This is a good example of what OpenRoads will hopefully eliminate.
