[IR SS2] Repeating Triangle Volume Report during project lifetime, How to?

Hi volks,

What if you have  huge projects from a building site with lots of stages for earthworks and your client, a building company
needs reports of lots of volume calculation for billing purposes.

Lets say we have several surveys from the stages and the respecting surfaces.
In addition there will be several areas (shapes) were to make different mass/quantiies calculation that have to repeat from time to time when
the corresponding surface are changed or changes are made with the InRoads Surface design tools.

I know all the abilities from "InRoads/Triangle volume". It is nice to set up but if you leave InRoads all dialog settings are gone and have to be
done again next time . That is frustrating and time consuming because the equal inputs must be done again and again.

How are you doing this?

Are there any better news for "dynamic reports" in the OpenRoads world for this?

Addition 7th Nov.: I filled a TR for this:  7000068820, S-99826

Text:

Dynamic Report System for Volumes, 7000068820, S-99826

User would like a dynamic report system for volumes that would list quantities by surface names for the Original, Design, Earthwork and Ground Surfaces.  These quantities should also update automatically as the surfaces are edited (change) make use of the dgnlib to ensure standardization when storing boundary elements like shapes in the DGN.

Maybe someone like to attach to this TR!

A while back I was told that somewhere, it was decided that Command Preferences were not that desirable and were not being added if new commands were added. I expressed by opinion that Command Preferences that could be saved and recalled were not only a nice feature, but were essential for many workflows.

Clearly, this tool needs such an option. And as more of the design tools migrate into OpenRoads, Bentley will need to add a similar capability.
