Pipe bends are handled by the Junction Loss calculations (HEC-22 2nd ed. section 7.1.6.5).  Anywhere in your network where a pipe is connected to another pipe without a manhole or inlet, the loss at the bend is calculated using the junction loss equation 7-8.
