InRoads S&S Connect Pipe at side of inlet(s)

Question

Hello all, 
 I've run into a situation where we are placing two inlets side-by-side in an effort to capture more runoff. Is there a way to layout a pipe so that it connects to the sides of an inlet, as opposed to the face? The attached figure should help clarify what I'm describing. I'm thinking the short length of pipe would not greatly affect computations, but want to be sure to model the network correctly. Thanks in advance.

I don't quite understand the question about connecting "to the sides of an inlet, as opposed to the face?". The picture above is possible to model in S&S by laying out two inlets, connecting them with a pipe, and then continuing on with the network. Did you have trouble using S&S to layout what is illustrated above?
