Hi All,
quick question. How to you remove a linear template from an element? I havent been able to find a remove/delete button. I don't want to have to delete the element.
Has anyone found the linear template remove option?
Thanks
Hi again,
no, not yet. I have quite a bit of time and effort in this model at the moment and I'm trying to finish it up (its a prototype)...
I'll copy the DGN later and hit the button. Will report back the result.
Have you done that as yet?
Have you tried dropping the cell after placing it?
Thanks Daniel.
The Linear Template I am attempting to remove is inside a Civil Cell. It seems it is not possible to remove the linear template in this condition - which is probably why I could not find the delete/remove button on the context sensitive pop-up menu.
I did track down the appropriate linear template from within the Project Explorer (and it took some finding!) and, from there, the delete option is available. When I selected that option, I get another message that says it cannot be removed because its in the Civil Cell.
Live and learn...
Hi Michael.
If you click and hover on the linear template the heads up display will allow you to delete the linear template. As many users are probably aware the heads up display doesn't always work. You could then go through the Project Explorer Tab -> Civil Data -> Civil Objects and remove it here.
Pictures attached.
