Microstation: 08.11.07.443 (SS2)
InRoads: 08.11.07.566 (SS2)
I have an existing surface, and I created a proposed horizontal and vertical roadway alignment (no proposed surface yet). How can I get InRoads to plot a point at the vertical curve elevation on each cross section. Also I'm trying to plot cross sections starting at an odd station i.e. 38+94.5 at intervals of 17.55. When I plot a station range (i.e. 38+94.5 to 40+70.0), it does start at 38+94.5 but then the next interval is 1.6 @38+96.10, then intervals of 17.55 starts @ sta 39+13.65, 39+31.20 etc. I put the range and interval in the General, Controls and the Custom with the same results. Where is that first 1.6 interval coming from, and how can I get rid of it?
Thank you,
-Brenda
To resolve your problem with stationing, try turning off your station lock: Tools > Locks > Station.
With regard to the vertical elevation points in cross sections, I recommend that you import the vertical alignment as a breakline surface feature. You can then display this breakline as a crossing feature in the cross sections. Please let me know if you need more detailed instructions.
