There seems to be an error in the IHSDMLandSML.xsl style sheet that is in the InRoads XML Report tool. The InRoads Template on http://www.landxml.org/schema/LandXML-1.0" does not appear to existing and seems to be causing the errors when this style sheet is used. The resulting data file that is output after using the IHSDMLandSML.xsl seems to be incorrect in many ways, the units are off, there appear to be several other elements in the resulting data that appear odd.
Does anyone have a IHSDMLandXML data set generated from InRoads Station and offset reports that works, I would be interested in seeing how the xml is organized.
Hi Mike - the stylesheet has some errors and some pathing problems. I have a dataset, output files and updated stylesheet that I can send you. These import correctly into IHSDM. We don't access our reports from the default Bentley location, so you would just need to update that information in the stylesheet. Also, I updated our LandXML to IHSDM technote fairly recently: www.wsdot.wa.gov/.../IR-Data2IHSDM_V8i.pdf.

Thanks Kate, I did finally get this to work. The InRoads IHSDMLandSML.xsl does work as does the wsdot xsl assuming every thing is in the proper locations. This style sheet requires that the file MyOutput.xml be in a specific location, in my case it needed to be in the InRoads StationOffset folder with the style sheet. There are still some errors or missing information in the IHSDM application side but I thinke the output from InRoads does work.
