On one of my machines, I open a dgn, load inroads, then open the alg file etc, and it works fine. Move to PC 2, exact same setups and it shows the alg etc are read only and I cant change it. It's like the workstation is set to read only somehow. Anyone run across this? Is there a setting i can change to make it see that the file is editable?

Is the XIN file in use on all PC's the same? There is a setting under the Options dialog box to default the opening of alg files as read only or read/write.
