Working on a small project and have a corridor with two transitions where I need to draw the lines on certain points and then release some constraints.
When I press the OK button after making both types of edits, the Application has stopped working dialog box opens. I had this happen in both Power InRoads and InRoads Suite. When I took my XP laptop, connected to the same network and workspace, opened the same RWK and edited the transitions, everything worked great.
I even found that I could run the IRD on my Windows 8 PC, but just not edit a template transition. I generated a number of those error messages that submit a dump to Bentley and have logged a critical TR with a zip file that should contain everything needed to rerun my dataset.
Just thought I'd ask if anyone else has seen a similar problem?
are you using inroads ss2 or ss3?

Ss2. I am so not ready for Ss3. At least not until the clients get into Ss3.

there could be a problem with windows 8, that version was not certified for windows 8.
Any chance of a Ss2 version being released that is certified on Windows 8? We are being torn between various vendors - Autodesk, Bentley, Microsoft and DOT clients.
XP is going away, Windows 7 and 8 are the recommended platforms for the latest software, but clients are hanging back!
Ss2 to Ss3 is possibly a bigger jump than from V7 to V8. The Open Roads platform is a major change to workflows and requires a lot of retraining. And if we try to develop standards for it that are based upon our current client standards, we are going way out on a limb and might find the client going a different direction. And since they are not in the new version, they are not going to want to pay for the development efforts.
What SS2 software build you were using at the time of testing this issue with your XP laptop? I had similar problem (on XP however) with one of early SS2 releases (.498 or so) and it was then fixed. Are you sure you have the same software build on XP laptop and Win8 PC?
