Linear Template - Template Drop Interval

Does anyone know how the template drop interval is set when using a linear template along a corridor feature?

 Your kind off pushing the boundary between Open Roads Tech and MicroStation CAD 
 I do not believe stroking shows up on a 3D element. this is because the element being placed in 3d will only allow a linear template to attach at the beginning and end. 
 While these 3D MicroStation elements can be added to terrains, they are of little use to linear templates.
