Hi
I have two terrain model in the same drawing, one surrounding the other. Using "Create Complex terrain Model" I try to merge this two into one...but still with possibilities to edit ether of them later. By doing that I hope to have both terrain visable in a vertical profil. Is this the right way to do it?
Where can i find info about "Create Complex Terrain model"?
regards
If your goal is only to have two terrains in profile the "Quick Profile from Surface" tool can be used to create them (they become profile elements in the horizontal's profile model). "Create Complex Terrain Model" behaves like you describe. There tool is used in Chapter 7 of the Introduction to Terrain Modeling class.

Hi Jeff, and thanks for your respond. But where can I find "Introduction to Terrain Modeling class"
Sigfus
The class Jeff is referring to is Display, Evaluate, Create, and Edit Terrain, and you can get to it from this link:

Thanks Jacquelyn, is it correct that this class is just open for subscribers to LearnServer?
I'm not entirely sure about that. At one time there was a special offering that these classes were free for all. That offer may have expired. You can contact Bentley Institute at 1-888-968-1000 for complete information on class offerings.
