I've created a terrain element in SS3 using the "Import from TIN" tool. There are voids in this terrain (based on the voids that were in the TIN) that I would like to remove. I've tried deleting and changing the feature type of the void, but no luck. Can anyone recommend a way to remove these voids?
Thanks!
Matt
I guess an easy workaround is to import the triangles using legacy "Load DTM Features" tools, then create the new terrain element based on those triangles. I'm still curious as to whether or not you can edit a terrain that has been created from a TIN, however.
Matt,
the problem is that when you bring in a tin file, there are no intelligent features that you can remove. The best solution would be to bring in the tin without the voids, you can remove them using the tin edit in the legacy geopak or by editing the .dat file and removing the voids from there.
