Hello,
Is there a way to export the superelevation data in geopak?
I have alignments & shapes created.
Thank you
Please see this post
Thanks, but what if there isn't a corridor modeled?
No problem,
I was hoping to export data, such as edge elev., elev. correction, cross slope, width, station, profile grade, to populate a table.
Even if I could get most or some of this data would be helpful.
Thanks
Whoa, if you are expecting to click a button and have all that print out, it ain’t happening. You are going to be gathering that data piece by piece so you better be sure what you have to have. It can be done but there is so much explaining to do, I’m not sure where to start.
One thing that will help is to create a surface from your super shapes. That should get you going on some of it at least.
I know it's a pipe dream...I'm really just trying to get pointed in the right direction, then I'll just run with what i can get.
Thanks.
Boba,
Mike is right. There is no magic button. you would need a combination of tools to get all the info you want.
for edge elevation, you can run the shape manager > shape profiler tool and get the elevations along the edges.
I am not sure what you mean by elevation correction. there is no easy way to get the cross slope, you would need to manually get it using the shape analyst. If you created the shapes using the autoshape builder, you can use the input file to get sta/slope information.

Nico,
I know there wouldn't be a "magic button". I just needed to know any method, or methods to help get to the info I'm looking for. I will try your suggestion and see how it goes.
Thanks for all the help guys!
