Compound curve using Civil Geometry Tools

it is the second icon once you hold down the simple arc to element icon

Thanks for the response and it worked well. I am curious how you would insert a spiral-arc-arc-spiral though?

You cannot do it in one step. The following should work tho:

1-determine the offset that would be caused by each spiral. You could use the spiral from element command for this. Note that since there are two curves each spiral will be different

2-Arc between elements command to make 2 centered arc with offsets determined above.

3-spiral between elements command on each side of the 2 centered curve. Or if you used spiral from elements command in #1 above simply move the spirals to match endpoints of the curves.

I realise this is an old question, but there is the Spiral-Arc-Spiral command.  Hold your left mouse button on the Simple Arc icon (R5) within Horizontal Geometry.
