Hello,
I am new to Geopak. I have used Power InRoads V8i SS2 but now need to become familiar with Geopak SS2. We do not have the software yet, but wanted to get my ducks in a row and at least learn what variations and any available white papers, videos, etc. there may be if it can be conveyed in a post. I want to know how similar Geopak is to the Power InRoads, any available resources, and what kind of learning curve is likely once get started with Geopak? We will be using it for plans and profiles and some site grading. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions, greatly appreciated.
I suggest you sign up for a Bentley Learn Road 1 class and also a Site 1 class. There are videos here but they are specific for tools. We work quite differently from Inroads and you would need to learn the basics well. It will save you a lot of time in the long run.

Ok, so the Site 1 and Road 1 classes will review the basics to get someone started with the software? Is there a difference between Power Geopak as a stand alone software and Geopak that works with Microstation?
yes that is correct those classes will be very helpful. there is no difference between power and regular geopak other than licensing and installation.
