Using Geopak V8i SS2 (08.11.07.625). I’m using the “Draw Cross Sections from Surfaces” tool through Corridor Modeler. I click on the check box under “Text Settings,” to plot the template/component point names as text in the cross sections. Then I use the Cross Section Labeler to target this text and place slope, elevation annotation. I’ve modeled several alignments all in the same manner. I don’t think that the roadway designer settings, templates or anything about the surfaces are different from corridor to corridor, however a couple of the surfaces give me trouble – the point text will not plot. I've tried it several times over and over but get the same results. Anyone see this before or know how I can go about troubleshooting? Thanks, Bill
The text should come in automatically when plotting the cross sections from the DTM. It is your template point names. I assume these components are typical ones that you have used before with success in getting the point lables to plot. Is it all point text or just some of the points that do not plot across a section? If you can post your dataset that would be helpful. All files that you use to run it including xin, xml, alg, ird, rdp, dgn, gpk. dtm, tin, etc. etc.

Additionally did you happen to plot the sections closer together than 500 feet vertically in each stack?
