Hi all
In Inroads V8i SS2 there is a function under: surface > design surface > Apply Template.
In Inroads V8i SS3 I miss that function! Where did it go? How to activate this command?

Hi Jacquelyn
Tx for the video's.
In my project explorer there is no 'Civil Standards' tab. I startup with my own projectconfiguration (pcf) and userconfig (ucf).
How to get this tab 'Civil Standards' ?

Here are several videos pertaining to Feature Definitions that you may find helpful:

Hi Chris
OpenRoads technology is new to me and I have to dig in to it. How can I create a 'feature definition'?
tx, Jean
All modeling and templates have been moved to the new OpenRoads technology. Since the templates no longer exist in the native InRoads commands, we could not have this command to apply a template to an element.
Instead, you have the ability to apply a template on an element through the Feature Definition. For example, I have a feature definition called Road_Centerline and when I look at the properties for the Feature Definition, go to Linear Default Settings and you can set the option for Corridor Template. Once you browse to the template you wish to apply it will save this setting. Any new linear element you place with this Feature Definition assigned will apply that corridor template to that element.
