I'm generating 3D models by setting the Feature Definition Toggle bar appropriately. The template drop on the resulting corridor has a spacing of 32.8 feet. Is this a hard coded value or is it in a configuration file? I can change the value afterwards by going into Element Templates or by selecting the Station Range control graphic and selecting Properties on the pop-up menu. I just can't find where I can define it so I don't have to edit it after I generate the model.

Using the features defined template definition along a best fit profile uses a hard coded definition. there is no way to set this to a specific design stage on placement.
You can change the design stage after placement by selecting the corridor properties and changing the design stage.
Please understand the tools purpose was to quickly sketch out an alignment with a template attached, primarily for use in preliminary design, or planning.
