OpenRoads Display Crossing Utilites in Profile Model

Question

What is the procedure for displaying crossing features, such as utilities, in an OpenRoads profile model? The utilities were developed using the SUE tools delivered with the 674 version of OpenRoads.

Hey Marc: Let me try to explain what you are seeing: 
 
 In your first case, you are creating an OpenRoads line with a Road/Site feature defintion. When you use intersect profile command, the precense of the cell in profile is controlled by the Road/Site feature defintion, which still exists on the line. The key point here is that it is the Road/Site feature defintion controlling the precense of the cell not SUE. 
 In your second case, the Microstation line never had a Road feature defintion, thus no cell in profile. 
 
 And yes, this does represent a situation where the Road/Site feature defintion and the SUE feature defintion are not as aware of each other as they should be. They will move closer together in future versions.
