My Sessions at Bentley LEARN Conference 2014

Hello everyone.  I want to invite you to my sessions at the Bentley Learn Conference. Each of these will be presented in Dearborn (May) and in Phoenix (June).

I will be presenting or instructing the following sessions:

Introduction to Subsurface Utility Engineering - This presentation will give you an introduction to the functionality in our new product, Bentley Subsurface Utility Engineering.  I'll walk you thru the various commands and capabilities as well as how it integrates with OpenRoads.  Further, get a peek of what we are working on for future versions.  We expect high interest in this presentation so we have scheduled it twice on the agenda.

(Hands On Workshop) QuickStart for Subsurface Utility Modeling - This hands on workshop will instruct you how to use the Bentley Subsurface Utility Engineering tools to create 3D models of underground utilities in an OpenRoads project workflow.  Topics include: Importing from external data sources, lay out drainage networks and create pressure utility networks from survey data.

(Hands On Workshop) Advanced Subsurface Utility Modeling - This hands on workshop delves into more advanced topics of Bentley Subsurface Utility Engineering such as conflict detection, setting up links into a GIS database, creating feature defintions and creating custom 3D cells for utility node models.

Best Practice: Integrating OpenRoads with CivilStorm - This presentation will show some of the capabilities of CivilStorm for hydraulic analysis and design and also how to integrate CivilStorm with your current GEOPAK Drainage or InRoads S&S workflows.

Introduction to Bentley Hydraulics and Hydrology Products - Many road and site designers have worked for years using Bentley's civil products.  You may have heard about the "Haestad" product line but never really understood what they are or how they can help in your workflow.  This session will introduce you to the Hydraulics and Hydrology products and try to erase a bit of the mystery surrounding them.

(Hands On Workshop) QuickStart for Engineers using Hydraulics and Hydrology Products - A companion to the previous presentation, this beginners level, hands on workshop will guide you thru the basics of the H&H products.  The workshop will use StormCAD and CivilStorm to demonstrate the basics of gettings started using the H&H product line.

I want these sessions to be the best they can be, so if you have an specific questions related to any of these topic, please post them here and I’ll do my best to address them in the sessions.

I look forward to seeing you.
