Hello!
I'm testing upgrading from V8i Ss1 to V81 Ss3 in a VMware environment using Windows 7. The biggest thing I'm noticing is the 'Applications' tab is missing when you have InRoads installed. Below is what I'm trying to accomplish in Ss3.
I want my users to be able to activate or deactivate InRoads as needed using the standard Microstation V8i Ss3 shortcut like how its shown above. I don't have the option of having the InRoads shortcut on the desktop and I find it easier to manager the license usage when there is this option rather then just adding an extra line to the MicroStation shortcut so InRoads opens every time. Anyone else having the same issue or a workaround/fix for it?

Please look for the Inroads Readme File, how to load Inroads with Microstation.Your question with the missing "application" tab is already answered somewhere here in the forum

Use :
Load_InRoads_SS3=1 for loading InRoads SS3 (openroads technology)
Load_InRoads_SS2=1 for loading InRoads SS2

thanks mate!
Hi Frank,
The solution posted did create an applications tab on my toolbar, however, when I click on Applications, it appears to be empty (there is no dropdown menu). Have you heard of this problem/know of a solution?
It seems like many other people have had the missing applications tab problem, but I have not seen anyone encounter this problem afterwards.
Thanks,
Alex
