Hello,
I am learning Geopak V8i SS2 using the Create Horizontal Alignments Learning Path and the help file as it applies.
I want to create the grid view for my profile and sections. Presently all I see is the base axis and elevation axis. Is there a way to generate the grid or is this a separate cell attachment?
There is no built in tool to draw a grid on your profile cell. There is a macro that comes with the product that you can use to generate a grid. i believe it is addressed in the help or one of the tutorials.

Is the "Plan/Profile Sheet Composition" and the "Cross Section Sheet Composition" supposed to create the sheets and place the grid cells as required?
do you want to create sheets, or just place grids? if you just want grids, there are vba's out there that will do that

If I need to do both grids and sheets; I use the vba to generate the grids and the "Plan/Profile Sheet Composition" and the "Cross Section Sheet Composition" to create my sheets?
both plan profile and xs sheets, use microstation cells for the borders. just use cells that have the grids already there. that is what everyone does.
So I just need to manually draw grids, place in cell and place the cell in the title sheet? I have looked in the help menu for cell grids or grids but do not see anything that stands out. Can you refer me to the help menu that discusses this if I want to explore the macro that creates grids?
just create the cell the way you want to. you can use microstation array, or something like that, copy parallel, etc
