I have my survey with its points, chains, and DTM in Geopak SS3. Is there an easy way that I can export the points used for the DTM creation and then a separate file for the non-DTM points? Most (95%) of the points have the Terrain Model Attribute set to "Determine by Feature Definition". The other 5% was set manually. I looked at the filters within Survey, but I didn't think it would work for this scenario.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,Ken
so your points are in native Geopak survey, and you would like to export them to use in openroads?
can you expand a little? thanks

Nico,
Everything is currently in Geopak SS3, which is what I used to process the field data. Our client wants the two ASCII files as part of the deliverable.
Does this help?
yes it helps a lot. export your fieldbook to a gpk. then
open the gpk in cogo and open the cogo navigator
With navigator>selection set: by survey attributes:
1 selection set
2 selection basis
3 export
4 to CSV
5 repeat for point not included in dtm
not sure why the images did not post. send me your email and I will send them to you.
Perfect. I was just trying to figure out the pictures. Email coming any second.
