I have survey field data in an excel file, back sight, occupied location, Horivontal angle, sight distance, and vertical anle. I could enter each line into PowerCivil via the Locate by angle command, is there a way to import the information?
do you know how to use geopak survey?

We have not had a reson to use that aspect of PowerCivil, but we use COGO often, and I am willing to learn a new part of the program. I have brought my data into COGO using the Locate by Angle command, slow but it works.
it might be easier to convert the values in excel and calculate your actual x y z coordinates and import the xyz file.
you will need to input manually if all you have is field data.
Nico Thank you, I have come to that conclusion and will rework our excel sheet. Are there any plans to write a routine that will allow locate by angle to function in a batch mode?
there are no plans. that method was pretty old. nowadays everyone just exports from data collector.
