I'm trying out the Bentley MX v8i Silent Install from the "Create deployment", however, when i select the "Setup.exe" on my Network Share, everything seems to work perfectly but i then get a "Shortcut Generator" Pop up during the install of MX thus making it no longer silent. Is there a way to disable this dialog in the "Silent Install"?
Also, i cannot see where i can input my license server details or activation code, how does it know what license server i'm using?

Essentially i'm looking for a way to deploy MX silenty via the Create Deployment method included in the *.exe installer via SMS or SCCM. At present if you use Create Deployment it does what it says but when you run the Setup.exe it creates, when you run it you get a "Shortcut Generator" pop up mid way through which halts the deployment. Is this controlled through the setup.XML?
I've tried a few things and all i can think of is creating my own *.exe with references to all the prerequisities that come with MX (*.MSI's) but this is a bit of a pain and the Create Deployment should take care of this if it worked.
From what i can see from the Shortcut Generator, i just want to accept the defaults as these are ok. I'm happy for all users, desktop icons, program group, standalone and MXROAD so why it should pop up i'll never know.
I do have some further questions after this in terms of default settings in the product and how these can be controlled but will leave those until this has been addressed.
