Changing / Updating alignment used to make a profile

Question

In Inroads or Rail Track, is there a way to update alignment of a profile? There are a lot of details already on the profile set that won't change. I don't want to redo them by creating a new profile with the updated alignment.

You can make edits to a vertical alignment in a profile using the vertical curve set or the Vertical Element tools and it will only alter the existing vertical alignment that exists in the profile set. 
 With this being said, if you have anything like annotation displayed for that aligment and you make changes, that alignment doesnt' truly follow that annotation so it will disappear and reset, unless you have either created the annotation graphics with the pen mode on and delete ink OFF or if you try to 'Remove User Data' so it will disconnect the annotation from the alignment. Remove User Data is an application add-in which will be under the InRoads Tools and allow you to remove all InRoads tagged information from elements so it will strip all intelligent information from it.
