Hi,the latest version of PowerInroads (.674) seems to work in an unexpected manner - please take a look at attached video. Selecting in a 3D model any 3D linear feature generated from a template allow editing horizontal alignment which resides in a 2D model. It is worth to add, that editing is possible only if corridor exists. All data reside in one DGN.Is this WAD? If so, what is the purpose of it? Do we really need editing horizontal geometry under a 3D model by selecting any 3D linear feature? The issue occurs in multiple locations. Thanks you in advance.Regards, Krzysztof
Sanders,
Not sure I get your point, please correct me if my understaing is wrong - does it mean that we will be able to override template constraints by selecting 3D linear feature in a 3D view?
Thanks, Krzysztof
Hi Krzysztof,
The behavior you are experiencing does work as design. However, I do see the need for the ability to edit a 3D linear feature created via Corridor Modeling independently from the horizontal alignment, such that the horizontal alignment (centerline) remains unchanged.
I have filed this Enhancement with our Development group as log 120125.
Thanks,
Sanders
