I have divided up several ramp corridors from an interchange into different DGN files. Now I am attempting to apply a linear template in the gore area for grading purposes. I initially tried to create a separate file for only the linear templates. When I did this, no matter what ramp I used as the origin for the linear template, the program crashed.
Are there any know limitations or defects that would prevent me from using geometry from a reference file as a linear template origin?

Follow up: Right after I posted this I noted the following in the linear template DGN file:
Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. I have filed a defect for this issue. The defect number is 123671.
