NDOT's ROW Surveys locate a lot of points using a defined direction, deflection left or right of that direction then input a specific distance along the deflection. We could use the Locate Traverse tool in OpenRoads Designer but we would need to add or subract the desired defelection from 180. With SS10 going away we are looking for a solution to replace the lost functions from SS10. We think this would be a great enhancement to the product if not we will probably look into purchasing an additional add-on product for the ROW Surveyors. I have attached an image of the dialog window that was used in SS10. It would also be nice to be able to enter the deflection in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds format similar to how bearings are entered using Geometry Builder.
