In InRoads Survey, Custom Codes were tied to Feature Styles and this made it possible for features with multiple alpha codes to use a common set of codes. It was even possible to have the code plae a cell, allowing for a one to many approach.
In ORD, while a Feature Definition can still have multiple codes, when applying VBA Macros, they use the field code and not the Feature Definition to select the vba macro to run. We currently have more than 270 Survey Feature Definitions, but those have approximately 340 Field Codes. This means I need to have 70 more lines in my VBA Feature Macro than I would if it used Feature Definitions instead of Field Codes.
