Attempting to open that file from ProjectWise folder where file is read-only to user, results in the SS3PowerGEOPAK reporting a file with old civil objects.
if the user selects "open" , the file fails and crashes. resulting in Power GEOPAK session closing but an orphaned GEOPAK.EXE session.
if a user attemtps to open the file by slecting "Open Read-Only" ... it still fails.
If a user attempts to open files that have no reference attachments "Read-Only" from the same folder... they open , have civil object converted on the users local machine, and.. when done... the original read-only copy is in original state - unconverted.
