Problem:
When placing geometry using the new Horizontal Geometry tools, there are commands that don't appear to have all available options for controlling the placement of the elements. For example, when placing an Arc Between Elements, there are options for Back Offset and Ahead Offset that may not appear in the command.
Solution:
The OpenRoads command windows are customizable to add and remove options for these tools. When you initialize the command (i.e. Arc Between Elements) you can right-click in the command window and select "Customize". This will bring up a Customize window which will allow you to set the options to Hide, Display in ToolSet, Display and Prompt, and Display and Prompt with Locked Value. You can change the icon and change the rule for that option to customize the commands and display the values you desire.
Hidden will prevent the option from displaying
Display in ToolSet will allow you to set the option in the command, but will not prompt when selecting through the options to place the element.
Display and Prompt will display the option in the command AND will prompt you to accept the value when left-clicking the options to place the element.
Display and Prompt with Locked Value will display the option in the command, prompt you to change or accept the value, and provide a lock so it will hold a specific value.
