Problem:

When attempting to edit my Data Acquisition settings in Settings > Design File, the right pane is blank.

Solution:

In order for the Data Acquisition settings to be displayed in the Design File Settings, you must first initiate the Data Acquisition command by selecting the Data Acquisition icon in the MicroStation Tasks menu.
