Problem:

I am attempting to use Place Plan Note to annotate the Structure ID and Invert Elevation of my drainage pipes.  However, it is not working as shown below:

Solution:

In order for these items to properly annotate, make sure that the Placement Mode is set to "Element" on the Settings tab of the command.
