Why are some Menus Grayed out?

Problem Description

Some menu items are grayed out in MXRoad such as some of the Design menus as shown below.

The reason for this is due to MXRoad requiring a model to be drawn to the display in order to give access to the certain menus.

Draw a model to the design such as a survey model and access will be give to the grayed out menus.
