If the following error occurs in Pavemet Layer Design.
When select Pavement Layer Design under pavement and subgrade design dialog box it throws an error " No pavement styles sets specified.
Workaround:
1. First you could try copying any pavement style files (*.pvs). to the public styles folder as shown in the below snapshot then try running pavement layer design again. They should then be shown in the pavement layer design panel, on the left hand side, and you can use the copy button to copy them to the right hand side.
Note : I just copied those files from the MXROAD Tutorial data, because if the user did not have any pavement styles available might be causing the run time error.
2. If this doesn’t make any difference, then try copying the two files to the \mxrenew subfolder of the folder that the MX project is in.
3. Please also check that the public pavement style sets folder which contains a file called “Pavement Layer Descriptions.mdb”. If this file is missing then that may also cause a problem.
