    Surface Creation From Google Earth Image

    Problem Description:

     

    How to generate triangulation model from Google Earth image?

    Solution:

     

    The Google Earth image is captured as a mesh in MXRoad. This mesh can be exported as a triangulation model in MX. Following are the steps for same:

    1. Change the view display mode to "Wireframe."

    2. Now, select the mesh that is captured from Google Earth.

    3. In the MX Controls dialog box, from the drop down select "MX export mesh2tria". Give a data to accept the mesh.

     

    4. A dialog box is displayed, give the name as "Triangulation". Hit Ok.

    The mesh is exported as Triangulation model in MX.
