Question:

Where are the settings for Angle Readout defined in SS3? View Horizontal Annotation is displaying directions as an Azimuth, and I would like to change them to Bearings.

Answer:

Beginning in version 08.11.09.674, angle readout is now defined in the MicroStation settings. To set up angle readout, go to Settings>Design File in the MicroStation menu. Highlight the Angle Readout category. The Angle Format, Accuracy, and Direction Mode can be defined in this location. Direction Mode specifically will define the readout as either Bearing or Azimuth.

Remember you will need to save these settings before exiting MicroStation - File>Save Settings.
