Problem:
When attempting to open the MicroStation Item Browser, it appears disabled and displays the message "No content available to display". Furthermore, the Tree Manager is empty and the "New" button does not work. This problem only occurs when OpenRoads is loaded.
Solution:
This issue is works as designed. The Item Browser has been intentionally disabled when the civil data loads. It is possible to edit a configuration file to restore the items in the browser.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Bentley Shared\Civil Platform\08.11.09\.
for Power products go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\PowerGEOPAK V8i (878)\PowerGEOPAK\CivilPlatform
Open this file in Notepad. You will need admin privileges to edit this file
Comment out two lines in this CFG file by placing a hashtag (#) in front of the lines. The two lines are shown highlighted below:It should look like this:
Save the CFG file and restart Microstation or PowerGeopak
