Roadway Linear Feature does not show in Plan View

Question:

After processing a corridor some of the template geometry does not show up in the plan view. Some of the line work such as ditch lines, shoulder lines, edge of pavement lines are not showing up.

Answer:

Most likely the Feature definition of the particular linear feature that is not showing up is not set correctly for plan view. To verify open up the Project Explorer and switch to the Civil Standards Tab. From there go to Feature Definitions and located your particular feature that is not showing up. Highlight the Item and Right Click on it and select Properties.

That will bring up the Element Information dialog as shown.

Check under the Linear Default Settings Section and review the Create Template Geometry Setting. Set the option to True and close the Element Information dialog.

You will need to reprocess the corridor. You can do that using the Process Corridor tool.
