Question:

Will OpenRoads be made available on the AutoCAD platform?

Answer:

The OpenRoads technology was developed for use with MicroStation. The combination of our civil SS3 products on the AutoCAD platform is no longer supported due to advances in our technology.

However, due to the successful integration of Autodesk’s RealDWG in Bentley’s MicroStation and Power Products, we are encouraging users to move forward with Bentley’s MicroStation or one of the Power Products (such as Power InRoads) as their DWG solution. There is full AutoCAD functionality through the OpenDWG solution. We suggest speaking to your Bentley Account Representative or a Sales Representative to discuss your options for our SELECTseries3.
