&lt;p&gt;When I linked my active feature definitions, OpenRoads reads one of my styles as a linear type feature definition instead of a surface type.&amp;nbsp; How does OpenRoads assign the feature definition types and how do I change it to the correct type?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:150%;"&gt;Answer:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When InRoads links a native file to the feature definitions, the software analyzes different attributes related to the style and determines the feature definition type based on these attributes.&amp;nbsp; In the event that the wrong feature definition type is assigned, simply right-click on the feature definition name in Project Explorer and select &amp;quot;Convert to...&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
