Question:

How do I use my turnout.txt file in Rail Track SS4+?

Answer:

The turnout library has been converted to XML. All libraries that were delivered in previous versions have been converted to .xml. Installation of Rail Track SS4+ will only deliver the .xml's.

The user can convert their custom libraries, by invoking the Turnout Library and loading the original .txt file from the File menu (upper left hand corner of the dialog) and then using the File > Save As to XML to convert the library. Once the library has been converted then it can be selected and loaded from Project Defaults.

The same applies to the S&C library (a File Open, File Save as XML has been added).

NOTE: If you encounter a problem where in the software does not convert your turnout library from .txt to .xml, you may need to do the following:

Load the turnout library .txt into NOTEPAD then do a SAVE AS and set it to ANSI
