    Hardware and System Requirements

    The recommended requirements for MX Version 2.6 running under Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP are listed in the table below.

    The requirements for the three MX environments are shown under the appropriate heading - Windows, AutoCAD and MicroStation.

    Minimum values are shown in square brackets.

    If you intend to make use of Multiple Document feature in AutoCAD 2000 you may require a significantly larger amount of memory and larger disk paging file than the numbers quoted.

    If MX is to be installed on a network drive, or project folders are to be created on a network drive, the drive must be capable of supporting long file names.

    Installing this version of MX will install Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.5 SP1 (unless a later version already exists on your PC)
