Define License Level (Number of Pipes) in Hydraulic Design Product(s)

    Product(s): InRoads, MX, GEOPAK
    Version(s): 08.11.09+
    Area:  Subsurface Utilities

    Question:

When I choose one of the advanced hydraulic design products (StormCAD Unlimited, CivilStorm, SewerCAD or SewerGEMS), how do I define the license level (number of pipes) that should be used?

    Answer:

The answer to this question depends on which version of the Civil product you are using. V8i SELECTseries 4, and OpenRoads Designer versions prior to 10.06.00.38, use SELECTserver licensing.

OpenRoads Designer and OpenRail Designer 10.06.00.38 and above use CONNECT Licensing.

Please refer to the answers below for your version of the Civil product.

    Answer - CONNECT Licensing:

    Answer 1 - SELECTserver licensing:

For an automated solution, it is possible to preconfigure these default levels of licensing in a more automated fashion.  See the following article and scroll down to near the bottom.

    Answer 2 - SELECTserver licensing:

In the Subsurface folder under the product install directory, start the program named Haestad.LicenseAdministrator.Gui.exe.

For each of the advanced hydraulic products, highlight the license level to be used, then select "Make Default".
