Question :

When displaying a model with MXRoad.pss, the strings are shown in different colors on two different machines. Why does this happen? The centerline should be shown as red on different systems, but it shows as green on one system and red on the other inspite of the fact that MXRoad.pss is assigned as the style set in both the cases.

Answer :

The reason for this behavior is the color table assigned. To get the standard Moss colors to the strings you need to set the color table to Mosscolurs.tbl.

For this:

1. From the CAD menu select "Settings > Color Table".

2. From 'Color Table' dialog box, select 'File > Open', and browse to the following location to select the Moss color table:

C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MX V8i (SELECTseries 4)\mfm\data

3. Hit 'Attach', the colors will be updated.
