Delete Multiple Alignments from native ALG in One Step

    Product(s): InRoads
    Version(s): 08.11.07+
    Area:  Geometry
Original Author: Chris Key, Bentley Technical Support Group

    Question:

How do I delete multiple horizontal and vertical alignments from a Geometry Project at one time?  There is a mass ALG containing multiple alignments which have been split into smaller projects and we need to save time rather than right-clicking on each alignment in the InRoads explorer and deleting them.

    Answer:

The command Geometry > Delete Geometry > Horizontal Alignment will allow you to select multiple alignments in the geometry project for a mass delete.  You can use the CTRL key to do a single add to the selection or use the SHIFT key to select a range of alignment following Windows selection procedure.  Then Apply and it will delete the geometry from the project.

This command is used to delete Geometry Projects, Horizontal Alignments, Vertical Alignments, Superelevation and Turnouts.
