Question:

After designing the vertical alignment, the entire vertical alignment needs to be reversed. Is there a way to transpose a vertical alignment to swap directions?

Answer:

There is not a direct tool to reverse a vertical alignment but you can accomplish this with a few easy steps.

Make a copy of your horizontal alignment because we are going to modify it. You will now have a horizontal alignment that is an original and one that is a copy.

Use the Geometry > Utilities > Transpose command to reverse the horizontal alignment (new copied alignment). This in turn will reverse the horizontal and the vertical alignment, which will redefine the vertical to match the horizontal in reverse stationing.

Use Geometry > Copy Geometry to copy the vertical from the transposed alignment (copies alignment) onto your original alignment as a new vertical alignment. This should now be a reversed vertical, copied onto your original horizontal.
